Y4A make a great start to their guitar lessons!

Children in Year 4 started weekly guitar lessons today. Miss Allen is very proud of all the children in Y4A for making excellent progress in their first lesson. The class learnt how to use a plectrum to strum the guitar and even had a go at playing the theme tune to Kung Fu Panda! The whole class leant how to play different notes and how to read music on a tab. We are very grateful to our guitar teacher, Mr Bate, who will be in school every Monday morning, helping us to learn how to play the guitar. Exciting times ahead.... Miss Allen thinks she may have a few rock stars in the class already! Watch this space....
