Design Technology - Making Fruit Kebabs

During Summer Term, Y3 have been studying Food and Cookery in Design Technology lessons with Mrs Sherman. We have been thinking carefully about healthy food and what makes a balanced diet. We have learnt about the different food groups (Carbohydrates, Protein, Dairy, Fats, Fruit and Vegetables) and know we should eat things from each food group to stay healthy. We also know that we should try and eat five portions of fruit and/or vegetables per day. During our D&T lessons, we designed and made our own fruit kebabs. Take a look! We particularly enjoyed evaluating them, as this meant we got to eat them! We think our fruit kebabs looked and tasted delicious - what do you think?
