Year 6 Home Learning

We know that, due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, there will be times over the coming weeks and months where your child may not be able to attend school for a number of reasons. To ensure that there is a little disruption as possible to your child's learning you will be able to keep up to date with what is happening in class by checking this page from day to day.

Below weekly news items will be posted containing information about their allocated tasks. We encourage you to send completed work to staff via the year group email broadoakyear6@sthelens.org.uk. Staff will then be able to monitor your child's progress and provide support.

There are still a number of educational websites your child may benefit from during their absence to consolidate basic facts. Please use the links below to access as you feel appropriate.

Suggested Timetable:

We understand that it can be difficult for children to adapt to learning at home, therefore, we have created a suggested timetable which you may wish to follow taking into account your own home routine. This timetable factors in the timings we follow for certain lessons and activities in school to ensure children's routines are not affected during time spent learning at home.

Staff in Year 6 are here to support you in this so if you have any questions or concerns please email or alternatively phone the school office and leave a message and staff will endeavour to get back to you as soon as they can.
