Good Morning! We hope you have had a fantastic weekend. The weather has continued to be lovely so hopefully you are refreshed and ready to learn this week.
Maths
Your Maths activities for this week will begin with subtraction word problems before moving onto division. Your task today is to work through the subtraction PowerPoint before having a go at some subtraction word problems.
English
This week you are going to practice your creative writing skills. We are going to build up our vocabulary, just like we would in school, to help with building and stacking your sentences. The tricky part is that you are going to be using a short film BUT you are only allowed to watch the first 30 seconds today! No peeking at the rest of the film!
The film is called ‘Soar’ and the main character is a little girl named Mara.
Task 1 – find lots of synonyms (alternative words) for soar and record them in your book or on a piece of paper.
Task 2 – watch the first 30 seconds of the film and then on the attached sheet, record all your ideas about the appearance and personality of Mara.
